I have booked an apartment at http://bbholland.com, what will happen next?

Thank you for booking with us! We hope you will have a great stay in Amsterdam. In a few minutes you will receive a confirmation e-mail of your booking with all the check-in instructions. On arrival you will have to check-in at our check-in desk. Our check-in desk is conveniently located next to central station; so you can simply arrive there by train. It's also possible to park your car in front for a few minutes white you ckeck-in. After check-in you go from our check-in desk to your apartment, by foot, by taking one of the many trams, by taxi or your car. For a small fee we can also send a private limo driver to pick you up from the meeting point at Schiphol airport to comfortably drive your group to our check-in desk, and from there straight to your apartment.


How can I book an accommodation?

You can click on ‘book now’, where you can choose your check-in and check-out day and fill in your name, e-mail, mobile phone and home country. After that, you can pay for the booking.


What do I pay at check-in?

You will pay 100% of the accommodation price when you book the apartment. Please mind that we need an extra €250 security deposit when you check-in at our reception. The deposit will be refunded after correct check-out. You can either use credit card authorization or pay it in cash.

When you check-in between 15:00 and 17:59, it is for free. When you check-in at another time, you will pay an extra fee (see below).

Extra fees apply for certain check-in times:

  • Early: 10:00 - 14:59 (only possible if available) €30
  • Normal: 15:00 - 17:59 Free
  • Late: 18:00 - 21:59 €30
  • Night: 22:00 - midnight €50
  • After midnight only upon request (not always possible)


It is possible to cancel my booking?

You can cancel or modify your booking by e-mail. Your payment will be fully refunded when you cancel up to 2 weeks before the check-in date. When you cancel up to one day before arrival, 50 percent of the accommodation price will be refunded. When you cancel during or after the check-in date, there will be no refund.


When do you inform me about the address of the apartment?

We will let you know what the exact address of the apartment is when you have paid the full price for the apartment.


When will the security deposit be refunded?

You should pay the damage deposit of €250 at our reception when you check-in. If nothing is damaged after your stay, the deposit will be refunded to you three to five days after check-out.


The apartment was not how I expected. Is it possible to get a refund from you?

If the apartment is not what you expected, please contact us. We can arrange another apartment for you or we can give you a refund.


Do you require a minimum night stay?

We do not require a minimum night stay; it is also possible to book an accommodation for one night.


Am I allowed to smoke in the apartment?

In all of our apartments it is allowed to smoke.


How can I check out?

Normal check-out times are until 11:00 PM. A late check-out until 18:00 can be requested, but it is not always possible. To request this service, please contact the office 24 hours prior to your departure. When you check-out later, you will be charged for the late check-out fee of €50.


How do you refund the deposit?

There are four options for refunding you the Security Deposit:

  • Key drop-off & bank transfer refund - (no extra charge/free)
    On the scheduled time of check-out, You can leave the keys on the kitchen table of the apartment and your security deposit will be refunded to your bank account. You can send us this information by e-mail before or after you check-out, in which you will have to provide us with your Account number, Account holder's name, Account holder's city, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code.
  • Key drop-off & Paypal refund - (no extra charge/free)
    On the scheduled time of check-out, You will leave the keys on the kitchen table of the apartment and your security deposit will be refunded to your PayPal account, you can provide this information to us by e-mail before or after you check-out.
  • Appointment & cash refund - (€ 30 service fee: to be paid on arrival date/check-in date)
    We will come to the apartment on the scheduled time of check-out to inspect the apartment for any damages. When no damages have been found, your security deposit will be refunded to you in cash.
  • Credit card authorization - (no extra charge/free)
    Your credit card limit will be temporarily blocked with € 250 + 5% fee = € 262.50. The total amount (including the 5% fee) will be released a few days after your check out if no damage, otherwise we will charge your card and the 5% fee will be applied as well.
  • If you want to check-out earlier you should call us 24 hours in advance to let us know.
